Utilizing the hockey treadmill, specialized weight equipment, a progression of plyometrics matched with proven training protocols that have been followed by nearly 500 professional hockey players, Athletic Republic has created a program designed to help you "Light the Lamp".

At every age, at every level, hockey is a physically demanding sport. By focusing our off-ice training on power, speed, agility and stamina, we can give every player the tools to be more successful on the ice. An abbreviated four-week pre-season conditioning program with the Minnesota Wild utilizing the Hockey Treadmill, to improve speed and skating efficiency; the PlyoPress machine, to increase explosive power; Plyometrics, as NHL players will make a change in direction over 52 times per shift; and resistance cords, to boost shot velocity, realized impressive results: 

- 200% increase in skating musculature activity
- 20% improvements in power generated ... greater leg strength
- 15% reduction in fatigue ... plus significant gains in rate of recovery
- 20% improvement in foot speed ... for faster change of direction
